Ghana skipper Andre Ayew has hinted on the country’s target for the 2022 World Cup.
Ayew mentioned that what happened in previous tournaments is past and gone and their motive is to raise Africa high in Qatar.
“We will try to make our country proud. We just have to focus on ourselves and not think about the past.” Ayew told FIFA media

“The goal is to make the continent proud of us. Because in the World Cup, we are not only playing for Ghana, but for the whole continent. That’s what we’re going to focus on, nothing else.” He added.
Ghana will lock horns with Portugal on Thursday, November 24 after which they will face South Korea and Uruguay.
