Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton was present at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Monday afternoon as Asante Kotoko SC played hosts to Karela United.
He was present at the stadium to witness the Ghana Premier League week 32 encounter to monitor the progress of the Premier League players for a possible national team call-up.
The aassistant coach of the senior national team, Mas’Ud Didi Dramani was also present for the monitoring of the GPL players on Monday.
The Black Stars trainer together with his technical team has been monitoring the players of the Ghana top-flight league since his appointment by the Ghana Football Association.
Chris Hughton is set to announce his squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic in the month of June and some of the players may be given a chance to play for Ghana.
