Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey is expected to sign a fresh two-year deal with Leicester in the coming weeks.
Amartey’s initial contract expires next month and the Foxes are bent on keeping him for two more seasons.
The versatile Ghanaian defender has been a pillar at the back of Leicester City playing 23 league games so far this campaign.
Despite efforts to extend his contract this summer, Leicester will also be eyeing to cash on him for a huge amoubt if he excels at the world cup and offers come.
Amartey joined Leicester from FC Copenhagen in January 2016 and has so far played 115 EPL games scoring three goals.
