Ghana defender Denis Odoi was deployed in midfield by Club Brugge manager Alfred Schreuder in their win over Royal Antwerp on Sunday in the Belgian Jupiler League.
Odoi, 33, started the game and excelled in midfield to help his team pick all three points away at the Jan Breydel Stadion.
Meanwhile, Odoi was replaced by Eder Alvarez in the 78th minute.
The former Fulham FC player was instrumental in Ghana’s World Cup qualification in Nigeria.
