Following a mixed performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the Black Stars have experienced a slight dip in the latest FIFA rankings for November.
Dropping from 60th to 61st place, Ghana secured one win and suffered a defeat during the November international break.
Despite this setback, the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners maintain their 11th position on the continent, remaining outside the top ten.
As attention shifts to the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, Ghana looks to improve its standing in the continental rankings.
The tournament is scheduled from January 13 to February 11, 2024. The top 10 African teams in the rankings are as follows:
- Morocco
- Senegal
- Tunisia
- Algeria
- Egypt
- Nigeria
- Cameroon
- Mali
- Ivory Coast
- Burkina Faso
