Accra Hearts of Oak are pondering over terminating the contract of Cameroonian import Albert Eounde due to non – performance.
The ex-Platinum player who signed a three-year contract for the capital giant in February is likely to have his relationship with Accra Hearts of Oak severed.
Albert Eounde’s offensive prowess in the Hearts of Oak set-up have proven to be disastrous as the burley striker failed to hit the target last season and has drawn blank this season.
The Phobian’s terminated the contract of another international player when they got rid of Yassan Ouatching in June. Just like Albert Eounde, the Central African Republic player also failed to score a single goal in the 2022/23 season.
Young striker from Aurosas, Hamza Issah has rather taken over the goal scoring mantle with 5 goals.
According to report in the local media, the striker is likely to depart from the club before the start of the second half of the 2023/2024 season after management weighed up the importance of the player to the club.
Pressure continues to mount on Hearts of Oak after they were dumped from the MTN FA Cup by Nania FC.
