The governing body of the Ghana Football are keen to have Jeremie Frimpong in the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
The Bayer Leverkusen player has emerged as a prime target for the Black Stars following the FA’s keen interest in the player, reports Fabrizio Romano.
He’s been a top target for Ghana for at least two years now and the Ghana Football Association bosses are now upping their game to get the player to don the famous Black Stars jersey.
He presently plays for the Dutch U21 team and remains eligible to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.

The Ghana FA is hoping to win the heart of the youngster to switch nationality from Netherlands to play for Ghana soon.
Sportsworldghana.com checks, however have confirmed that the Ghana Football Association are determined to get the player and have contacted the player’s parent and the player himself.
