The Ghana Football Association has added former Ghana assistant coach, George Boateng to the list of coaches lineup for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.
Boateng, a former Aston Villa U-13 coach is one of the candidates the Ghana FA is looking to make the new head coach of the Black Stars.
He assisted coach Otto Addo at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar and was part of the technical team that qualified Ghana to the mundial.
Otto Addo left his role as Ghana coach after defeat to Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah at the FIFA Mundial earlier this month.
With this development, the Ghana FA has been looking for a new Black Stars coach and has identified Boateng as one of the best candidates for the job.
