Former Ghana star midfielder Agyemang Badu is livid with the current state of Ghana football following poor outings at various tournaments in recent tournaments.
The ex-Udinese Calcio player says Ghana football is in a dangerous times and if care is not taken in a couple of years Ghana may not be able to make it to major competitions.
His comment comes after a shambolic performance by Ghana’s Olympic team at the 2023 CAF U-23 championship in Morocco.
“Ghana football is in a dangerous times. If care isn’t taken, in a couple of years,
qualification to major competitions may become problematic”, he told Joy Sports.
Badu kicked the final penalty for Ghana’s Black Starlets at the 2009 FIFA U-20 world cup final against Brazil as Ghana emerged winners of the competition.
He played at the 2010 and 2015 Africa cup of Nations finals as Ghana lost on both occasions to Egypt and Ivory Coast respectively.
