He came from the bench to score the icing on the cake goal for the Baggies who won 3-0 at home over Rotherham United FC at the Hawthorn.
He won the championship November Goal-Of-The-Month Award with a stunning strike against Stoke City FC ahead of today’s clash.
Jed Wallace scored the first goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after 20 of play with a superb left-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom left corner.
After the break, Wallace turned provider with a set up that saw Grady Diangana’s strike from the center of the box into top right corner to make it 2-0.
Asante connected to a set piece from the right side of attack into the center of the goal to make the final score 3-0.
