Ghana’s forward Christopher Antwi-Adjei provided three assists in VFL Bochum’s heavy win over TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

He got a hat-trick of assists in the first 45 minutes of the match to help his side secure a 3-0 lead before the halftime break at home.

Halfway through the opening half of the match, the Ghanaian international forward set up Phillip Hofmann to score the opener to put the hosts 1-0 up.

Eight minutes later, Antwi-Adjei put the ball on plate for Phillip Förster to grab the second goal of the match to make it 2-0 after 30 minutes played with 15 minutes to end proceedings.

On the 40th minute mark of the match, it was the turn of Japanese star Takuma Asano to receive a nice pass from the Ghanaian to score the third goal to make it 3-0 at the end of the 45 minutes.

Both teams scored twice in the second half of the match as the game ended in an entertaining 5-2 win for VFL Bochum.

The 28-year-old Ghanaian forward has two goals and six assists in 14 games in the 2022-23 Germany Bundesliga.
