Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew was in full 90 minutes of action for Crystal Palace in their 1-2 away victory against Southampton on Saturday.
Ayew was handed a starting berth by Manager Patrick Viera and played well to help his side snatch all three vital points at St Mary’s Stadium.
Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu Vidal scored in the 9th minute to put the hosts ahead but Eberechi Oluchi Eze hit the back of the net in the 60th minute mark to cancel Southampton’s lead.
With the game almost ending one apiece, Wilfried Armel Zaha scored after 90+2 minutes to seal an important away win for Palace.
Meanwhile, compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp who also started the match, was replaced by Michael Olise in the 74th minute.
Defender Mohammed Salisu on the other hand, featured for Southampton and lasted the entire duration of the match.
