Ghanaian striker Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim left an indelible mark on the field as he notched a crucial goal in Hong Kong Rangers’ triumph over Lee Man Warriors in the Sapling Cup.

Throughout the entirety of the match, Nassam exhibited unwavering commitment, contributing significantly to his team’s 4-3 victory over Lee Man Warriors on a Saturday morning.

In a display of remarkable prowess, Hong Kong Rangers found the back of the net in the 36th minute courtesy of Japanese international Yumemi Kanda.

The home side responded swiftly, with Paulinho Simionato leveling the score in the 38th minute from the penalty spot. Loong Tsz Hin then added to the tally in the 39th minute, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of the home team.

Despite the setbacks, Hong Kong Rangers entered the halftime break with a narrow 2-1 advantage.

In the 54th minute, the resilient Brazilian international Gil Martins equalized for Lee Man Warriors. It was then that Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim showcased his scoring prowess, propelling his team back into the lead with a goal in the 57th minute.

The momentum continued for Hong Kong Rangers as Fernando Lopes extended the lead with a goal in the 63rd minute. However, the game took a turn when Kwan-Lee Lo received a red card in the 84th minute, forcing Hong Kong Rangers to finish the match with 10 men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Paulinho Simionato managed to narrow the gap, scoring for Lee Man Warriors in the 85th minute from the penalty spot, bringing the score to 3-4.

Nassam Ibrahim, the 26-year-old Ghanaian striker, has been a standout performer, amassing an impressive tally of eleven goals and providing one assist across all competitions for Hong Kong Rangers this season.
