The 13th All-African Games is getting exciting as the athletes are eager to make their respective nations proud. Ghana had no medal as of early morning on Sunday but Winnifred Ntumi secured silver earlier before going all out to win the gold medal for Ghana in weightlifting.
Ghana has now won 4 medals after Abeku Jackson won a historic silver in swimming later on Sunday.
On top of the table is Egypt who has won a whooping 50 medals of which 31 are Gold, 11 are Silver and 9 are Bronze.
Followed in second is South Africa who has a total of 23 medals of which 7 are gold. Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco complete the top 5.
