Ghana legend and former Captain Asamoah Gyan was part of African legends present at the inauguration of the ‘Invincible Park’ in Liberia on Friday, April 15, 2022.
The all time Ghana topscorer was handed a special invitation alongside other African Football legends by Liberia President George Weah to grace the grand opening of the ultra-modern sports center.
He was there alongside with ex-footballers including Emmanuel Adebayor, former Liverpool striker El Hadji Diouf, Nigerian football icon J.J Okocha and Zambia’s Kalusha Bwalya.
Samuel Eto’o, Luis Fernandes, FIFA Delegates, Didier Drogba, Sekou Coulibaly, Alian Guamini, Yousouf Fofana, Rocky Russell, and German Smith.
The Invincible Sports Part is an ultra-modern facility built to help develop sports in the West African country and has a standard FIFA football pitch, two football practice pitches, and two basketball courts, tennis and a volleyball court.
It also includes a track and field stretch, a mini children’s playground, and a parking space.
