Ghanaian holding midfielder Anderson Asiedu has been named into the USL team of the week for the first time this season.
The 5 feet 6 inches diminutive enforcer was the man of the match on Sunday as he netted a 93rd minute winner in Birmingham Legion 2-1 victory over Hartford in a week five fixture.
The Ghanaian made ten recoveries throughout the game which was the highest before heading home the winner in the last minute of injury time.

“Great teamwork by the guys for not giving up! We keep fighting.” Asiedu stated after making the list.
He joined Birmingham Legion as a free agent in the summer of 2019 and has so far played 68 games, scoring twice and providing two assists.
