Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has earned recognition for his impressive start to the new season after being shortlisted for Al Qadsiah’s August 2026 Player of the Month award.
The 21-year-old has emerged as an influential figure in the Saudi Arabian club’s attack, playing a key role in a strong run of results during the month.
Al Qadsiah won all four of its competitive fixtures in August, with Bonsu Baah making a notable contribution to the club’s attacking output.
His standout performance came in the King’s Cup, where Al Qadsiah thrashed Al-Tai FC 5-0. Bonsu Baah scored once and provided an assist as his side cruised into the next stage of the competition.
The Ghanaian has also impressed in Saudi Pro League action, posing a consistent threat to opposition defences with his pace, dribbling ability and delivery from wide areas.
His performances against established league opponents, including Al-Shabab and Al-Ittihad, have further strengthened his growing reputation since making his breakthrough at the club.
Bonsu Baah, however, faces strong competition for the monthly prize, having been shortlisted alongside Italian striker Mateo Retegui and Uruguayan defender Gastón Álvarez.
The winner will be decided by Al Qadsiah supporters, with voting scheduled to remain open until 9:00pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
The nomination marks another significant step in Bonsu Baah’s development and underlines his increasing influence at Al Qadsiah as he continues to stake his claim for greater recognition at international level.
