Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah has received a nomination for the November Player of the Month in the Saudi Pro League, showcasing his remarkable performances for Al Tai.
Mensah, formerly with Kayserispor, faces competition for the accolade from Cameroon’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
Mensah, 29, has made a striking impact since joining Al Tai from Turkey in the summer transfer window. Notably, he has scored an impressive nine goals in 13 matches, with five of those strikes coming in the month of November.
Having emerged as Al Tai’s standout player, Mensah’s nomination is a testament to his influential role on the pitch. Al Tai had a mixed performance last month, securing two victories, drawing one, and suffering one defeat.
In the race for the Player of the Month award, Mensah contends with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who has netted 11 goals in 14 matches for Damac, including two in the month of November, propelling his team to the eighth position on the table.
