Ghanaian international Daniel Kofi Kyereh is not happy following St. Pauli’s 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin in the DFB Pokal on Tuesday.
Kyereh netted the opener in the 21st minute with a superb strike before the home side fought back to win the game.
The Ghanaian insists the defeat is a bitter pill to swallow and they gave to avoid making mistakes in games as they could always get punished.
“It’s a bitter defeat, we conceded one, two, too many. We have to know that such mistakes are punished. We all have to work on ourselves to grow in games like this.” He told his club’s media.
Kyereh has been outstanding for St. Pauli with eight goals and ten assists in 24 games in all competitions as they also lead the Bundesliga 2 log.
