Ghanaian midfielder Rahim Ibrahim continued his impressive start to the season by scoring his second league goal as Slovan Bratislava secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over FC Košice in the Slovak Liga.
The 24-year-old found the back of the net in the 25th minute, doubling Slovan Bratislava’s advantage after the hosts had taken an early lead. FC Košice responded with a goal after the break, but Slovan held firm to claim all three points.
Ibrahim’s latest strike takes his league tally to two goals this season, underlining his growing influence in the midfield for the Slovak champions.
The victory sees Slovan Bratislava reclaim top spot in the Slovak Liga standings with 12 points from five matches, maintaining their strong start to the 2026/27 campaign.
The Ghanaian will be hoping to carry his rich vein of form into the club’s upcoming fixtures as Slovan continue their push to defend the league title.
