Ghana defeated South Korea but lost to Portugal and Uruguay in Group H.

Despite their improvement in the world rankings, Ghana is still outside the top 10 in Africa’s powerhouses.
Senegal drop to second position with World Cup semi-finalists Morocco taking the top position on the continent.
Tunisia comes in third with Cameroon and Nigerian following in fourth and fifth respectively.
