Lions gained the bragging right over the Wonder Club in the Accra derby to move third on the league table after 15 games with 26 points.
On the 27th mark of the match, Samari Salifu scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up with a very brilliant finish which was an evidence of their dominance.
Three minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Jacob Mensah grabbed the insurance goal for the Lions before the break.
Mensah scored his second goal seven minutes after the break to make it 3-0 to the Lions who at the point showed their mettle and run away with all three points.
