Aduana FC came from behind to secure a dramatic 2–1 victory over Karela United in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash.
Karela United took an early lead when Aduana FC defender Salim Bafaada inadvertently turned the ball into his own net in the 22nd minute. The home side fought back, and Alex Boakye converted a penalty to level the score, restoring hope for Aduana FC.
The winner came in the dying moments of the game, as Charles Gyamfi struck in the 90th minute plus added time to seal all three points for Aduana FC.
The result lifts Aduana FC in the league standings, while Karela United will rue their missed opportunity to claim at least a point on the road.
