Ghana giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC picked a valuable point away from home on Sunday afternoon at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
The Ghana Premier League top liner this weekend ended in a goalless stalemate at the home of the Green and Yellow outfits in an eventful clash.
Both teams created good chances in the first half but failed to convert the opportunities that came their way as the opening half ended goalless.
In the first half of the match, former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC deputy captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi clashed with Frederick Asare, the goalkeeper of Kotoko.
Surprisingly, none of the players were shown a yellow card after almost trading blows in a hot and unfortunate incident.
Kotoko thought they had taken the lead through Eric Zeze but only for the referee to disallow the goal for offside decision.
The game ended in an entertaining goalless encounter at the Dormaa Park as Aduana Stars remain top of the league table after 10 games with 20 points and Kotoko second with 18 points.
