The Fire Lads bounced back to winning ways in the Premier League after losing to Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC in their last outing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
They recorded their first win over the Green and Yellow outfits in the Ghana Premier League in their fourth attempt at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Wednesday afternoon.
Kelvin Obeng scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up in the first half of the match with a cool goal.
Deep into additional time period of the match, Obeng added the second goal for of the match to make it 2-0 at full time.
The leaders are on 50 points now, three points ahead of Medeama SC who are second on the league table.
