Asante Kotoko have been handed their first defeat of the campaign following a 2-0 result in their match against Bechem United.
A first-half goal from Kofi Agbesimah and a second-half strike from Emmanuel Avornyo ensured victory for the Hunters.
Bechem started the game on the front foot and were awarded a penalty after 20 minutes. Agbesimah stepped up and converted with aplomb.
Kotoko tried to equalize in the second half but they failed to do so. Avornyo added more insult to injury, doubling the advantage for the hosts.
Bechem are currently 8th on the log whilst Kotoko are 5th.
