The Ghana Premier League continued on Friday afternoon when Accra Lions FC beat Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium with the other club in Accra, Hearts of Oak SC moving to Bechem to face the Hunters.
The Hunters will face the Phobians at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem on Saturday afternoon with both of teams searching for all three points as the battle for top four finish intensifies.
Bechem United FC lost their last game of the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale against Tamale City despite taking a two goal lead in the first 45 minutes of the match.
The hosts are unbeaten at home in the Premier League in their last ten matches after losing to Accra Lions FC on November 13, 2022, winning seven games and picking up three draws.
The Hunters are very strong at home this season and are hoping to bounce back to winning ways against the inconsistent Accra Hearts of Oak SC at home this after at 3pm.
Hearts of Oak SC on the other have lost four games on the road and have been very consistent in being inconsistent with their results this season in the top-flight in Ghana.
Nonetheless, the Phobians haven’t lost in theur last three visits to Bechem United FC winning one and drawing two on the road against the Hunters who are in a good form at home this season.
Bechem are fourth on the league table after 26 matches with 41 points as the Phobians are with 42 points from 26 matches, lying third on the league table.
