Chelsea whitewashed Ghanaian giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC in the Ghana Premier League at the Berekum Golden City park on Friday afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors could not respond to the fire unleashed on them by the Bibires in their 26 clash of the GPL on the road.
Chelsea started the game on a blistering pace, stating their intent very early in the game with mouth-watering display on the rough pitch.
Both teams created some few chances but it was Chelsea who had some good and excellent efforts on goal which was thwarted by Black Meteors goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad.
In the second half of the match after a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, Kalo Kalo Oyattarra broke the deadlock of the match with a powerful header to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second half.
The attacker was on the score sheet for the home team again with a beautiful header three minutes after the hour mark to make it 2-0.
Former Medeama SC player Patrick’s Fati Ansu came from the bench to score the third goal of the match to put the hosts 3-0 up with five minutes to go.
The game ended 3-0 with Kotoko suffering their biggest defeat of the season away from home.
