FC Samartex sealed their Ghana Premier League title with a 2-0 victory over Accra Lions at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday.
The Timbers, who were crowned champions, dominated the match from start to finish, scoring a goal in each half to secure the win.
Emmanuel Mamah opened the scoring just three minutes into the game with a deflected shot in the box, and Ebenezer Ocran sealed the deal late in the game with a stunning individual effort.
Ocran intercepted a pass from Accra Lions goalkeeper Daniel Afful and turned his marker Mohammed Shawkan before firing past Afful to secure the win.
The victory capped off an impressive campaign for Samartex, who had been chasing their first-ever Ghana Premier League title.
