Dreams FC wrapped up their season with a 2-1 victory over Aduana FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Sunday afternoon.
The three goals came in the second half, with Derrick Agyei and John Antwi scoring for Dreams FC, and Emmanuel Obuobi netting a late consolation goal for Aduana FC.
The win secured Dreams FC’s 9th place finish in the league standings, a bittersweet ending to a season that showcased their continental prowess in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they reached the semifinals.
However, their domestic form was inconsistent, failing to defend their MTN FA Cup title. Despite this, they will take pride in their performances abroad.
Aduana FC, on the other hand, ended their season in 4th place, having challenged for the title but ultimately falling short to new champions Samartex.
