Western Region – Midfielder Emmanuel Owusu has been named Medeama’s Player of the Month for October 2025 after a commanding public vote, securing 86.5 percent of the total.
Owusu finished ahead of fellow nominees Kelvin Nkrumah and Abdul Salam following a month of consistent and influential performances in the Ghana Premier League. Despite missing one of Medeama’s four league matches due to injury, he scored one goal, provided two assists, and earned a NASCO Man of the Match award.
His standout moment came in Medeama’s 2-1 victory over Nations FC, where he scored from a free-kick and delivered the corner that led to the match-winning goal, earning him the NASCO MVP honour. His ability to control the tempo, unlock defences, and execute reliable set-pieces strengthened Medeama’s campaign.
The award, sponsored by Mr Tee Shoe & Unisex Boutique, comes with a GHC 1,000 shopping voucher, with the presentation set for Saturday ahead of Medeama’s home clash against Bechem United at the TNA Stadium.
