FC Samartex delivered an impressive display to ease past Basake Holy Stars with a commanding 3-0 victory in their Ghana Premier League Round 29 clash on Saturday afternoon at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
Right from kickoff, Samartex showed greater composure, dictating the tempo and carving out early opportunities.
Their pressure paid off in the 17th minute when Baba Hamadu Musa opened the scoring, calmly finishing after latching onto a brilliant through pass to put the hosts in front.
Samartex continued to dominate, and their efforts were rewarded again in the 28th minute. Emmanuel Mamah, who was a constant menace down the wings, cut inside and fired home a fine finish to double the advantage.
Basake Holy Stars struggled to match Samartex’s intensity and rarely threatened throughout the contest.
After the interval, the hosts remained firmly in control. Emmanuel Mamah grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 71st minute, capping off a fluid team move with another composed finish to put the result beyond doubt.
The victory further strengthens Samartex’s strong home record and solidifies their place in the top half of the league standings.
