Ghana Premier League full results, standings and top scorers chart after matchday 33

Hearts of Oak suffered their fourth consecutive defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians took the lead in the 35th minute when Linda Mtange calmly finished a superb pass from Eric Esso.

However, just one minute into the second half, Abdul Manaf Umar equalized for RTU, capitalizing on a rebound from Mohammed Mankuyeli’s shot.

In the 72nd minute, Hearts of Oak were reduced to 10 men when Eric Esso received a straight red card. RTU seized the opportunity and scored their second goal in the 80th minute through Stephen Dankwa Badu.

Hearts of Oak fought to find an equalizer in the remaining minutes of the game, but RTU’s resolute defense held firm, securing a 2-1 victory. RTU also finished the match with 10 players, and Hearts of Oak had a goal disallowed for offside.

Meanwhile, Bechem United clinched a 2-0 win against Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Fosu Gyeabor Park, with goals from Joseph Kinful and Cephas Kofi Mantey.

Medeama played out a goalless draw against Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena. The result means that Medeama will need to secure at least a point in their final match against Tamale City to win the Premier League.

Nsoatreman secured their place in the top-flight league for another season with a 2-1 home victory over Aduana FC. Samuel Ofori scored a brace, while Kelvin Obeng netted the consolation goal for Aduana.

Karela United kept their survival hopes alive with a thrilling 3-2 home win against Bibiani GoldStars. Evans Adomako scored twice, and George Amonoo added another goal for Karela, while Abednego Tetteh’s double increased his goal tally for the season to 18.

Already relegated Kotoku Royals defeated Tamale City 4-1 in Dawu. Francis Andy Kumi scored two goals, while Richard Amoah and Tahir Mensah contributed with the other goals. Godknows Dzapkasu scored Tamale City’s lone goal.

Asante Kotoko secured a 1-0 victory over Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Sarfo Taylor finding the back of the net in the 22nd minute.

Dreams FC sealed their place in the betPawa Premier League for another season with a 2-1 win over Great Olympics. Goals from Godfred Atuahene and Ali Huzaif ensured victory for Dreams, while Solomon Adomako scored for Great Olympics.

King Faisal ended their winless streak of six league games with a 3-1 victory over Legon Cities. Abdul Latif scored twice, and Baba Yahaya added another goal for King Faisal, while Ebenezer Armegah scored the consolation goal for Legon Cities.

Despite their 3-1 win, King Faisal has been relegated to the Division One league.
