Ghana Premier League powerhouse Accra Hearts of Oak SC have safely landed in Tamale for the opening game of the 2023-24 season.
The Phobians will take on Real Tamale United FC in the first game of the season on Friday evening at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Hearts lost heavily against the Pride of the North last season and will be hoping for a better outing this time around with new coach and new set of players.
The game will kick off at 6pm with the host aiming to repeat what they did to the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League winners again this season to start on a high.
Hearts arrived in Tamale City on Tuesday evening, three days to the game to acclimatize with the weather condition in the north.
