Razak Simpson delivered a moment of magic as Nations FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 21 encounter at the Tuba Astro Turf in Accra.
The result extends Hearts of Oak’s struggles, marking their third defeat in four matches, while Nations FC celebrated an important win after managing just one victory in their previous three games.
Both teams showed attacking intent from the start, making for an intense first half. However, despite several promising opportunities, neither side could break the deadlock before halftime.
Notably, Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was missing from Hearts of Oak’s matchday squad.
The second half maintained the high tempo, with both teams pushing forward in search of a goal. Nations FC, however, posed the greater attacking threat and eventually broke through in the 65th minute, sealing a valuable three points.
