Felix Morto and Eric Antwi delivered first-half goals as Karela United defeated Eleven Wonders FC 2-0 in Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Karela United continued their impressive run with a third consecutive victory, strengthening their position in the top half of the table.
Felix Morto opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a calm finish after sustained pressure from the hosts. Just six minutes later, Eric Antwi added the second goal, putting Karela firmly in control before halftime.
In the second half, Karela managed the game confidently and limited Eleven Wonders’ attacking efforts. The visitors struggled to create clear chances as the home side maintained their defensive discipline.
The result keeps Karela seventh on the table with 34 points as their strong form continues. For Eleven Wonders, the situation remains worrying as they sit at the bottom of the standings and face the threat of relegation unless results improve quickly.
Karela will next travel to face Bechem United, while Eleven Wonders prepare for a crucial home fixture against Nations FC.
