Karela United drew 1-1 with Medeama in their week 21 Ghana Premier League game at the CAM Park in Anyinase on Friday afternoon.
The Mauve and Yellows got a priceless point on the road against the Pride and Passion side.
Patrick Mensah after receiving a pass just inside the box dummied his marker before hitting the ball past Medeama goalkeeper Kamil Anaba in the 36th minute to make it 1-0 to the home team.
Just after the two teams had returned from the break, Rashid Nortey sent a delicious ball into the path of Sule Musa who had an easier task of lifting the ball past onrushing Karela goalkeeper Felix Kyei into the net to make it 1-1 in the 47th minute.
Karela United FC was denied a spot kick seconds before the away team drew level as center referee Daniel Laryea waved play to continue.
The game ended 1-1.
