Kumasi-based top-flight side, King Faisal FC came from a goal down to beat Karela United FC at the Abramkese Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The Green and Whites outfit recorded double victory this season over the Pride and Passion outfit after beating their opponents home and away.

Faisal were the better team and deserved the win and could have won by a bigger margin against the their opponents in today’s game.

Three minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up.

Just a minute later and with just a minute to the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Samuel Kusi scored the equalizer for the home team to restore parity before the break.

Fifteen minutes into the second half of the match, Abdul Latif scored with his weaker foot but managed a brilliant strike to put the hosts in the lead for the first time in the game after 60 minutes.

Benjamin Bature scores the third goal after 74 minutes to make it 3-1 but Ishmael Nketiah reduced the deficit to one in just two minutes for the away team.

King Faisal held their grounds, created some decent chances in the second half of the match especially in the last 10 minutes but failed to add to their tally but won the game 3-2 to move out of the drop zone.
