Vision FC claimed a vital 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Young Apostles in a tense Matchday 31 encounter of the Ghana Premier League at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

After a goalless first half, the breakthrough came in the 83rd minute when Edmond Asante calmly converted a penaltyto put the home side in front. Just five minutes later, Kyei Baffour doubled the lead, capitalizing on a lapse in the Apostles’ defence to seal the win.

The victory lifts Vision FC to 14th place on the table with 36 points, just one point behind their visitors, who now drop to 13th following the defeat.

Though the debutants are still not completely safe from relegation, the result offered a much-needed morale boost and a sign of promise, particularly from their second-half display.

Young Apostles, on the other hand, will rue their inability to hold out under pressure and will be disappointed with how they conceded twice in the closing stages.

Next up, Vision FC face a tough trip to Karela United, while Young Apostles will return home to host title-chasing Heart of Lions in a must-win fixture.
