Bibiani GoldStars FC welcome Bechem United to the Duns Park on Sunday seeking to extend their impressive home record.

The Miners have won their last seven home matches and will seek to add United to the list of their victims.

Coach Frimpong Manso’s men sniffed a point of Nations FC last weekend, drawing goalless at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese.

They will be buoyed by their fine performance away from home as they welcome Bechem United to the mining town.

United themselves are in need of an emergency oxygen following their 1-1 stalemate at home to Heart of Lions last weekend.

Bibiani Gold Stars have won their last seven consecutive home games and are the best home scoring side in this campaign, scoring 29 and conceding 14 in 14 appearances with 30 accumulated points.

The Miners are the 5th best home side this season. The Bibiani based side have recorded 3 wins, 1 draw and suffered 1 defeat in their last 5 matches. They are 9th on the table with 39 points after 28 matches.

Bechem United have accumulated 40 points from 27 matches with one outstanding game to be played against Dreams FC.  They are unbeaten in their last 5 matches with 1 win and 4 draws. The Hunters have managed to secure 12 points away from home, scored 12 and conceded 15 goals. They are ranked as the 5th best away side so far in the league. Bechem United are winless in their last 5 away fixtures.

It’s a battle between the 5th best home side and the 5th best away side.

Bibiani Gold Stars have played Bechem United 2 times at home since 2020/21 season with Bibiani Gold Stars winning all.

In the 2021/22 season, Bibiani Gold Stars beat Bechem United 1-0 and repeated same score line in the 2022/23 season.

Bibiani Gold Stars powerhouses Prince Kwabena Owusu and Alex Aso, who have scored a combined 16 goals, are available for the match on Sunday.

Other key players including Frank Amankwah, Gideon Anaba, Vincent Atingah, Eric Bosomtwi, William Dankyi, Ronald Frimpong, Charles Gyamfi, Emmanuel Odai, Abednego Tetteh, Adraman Yahaya and Emmanuel Appau are all available for the match.

Bechem United top scorer Cephas Mantey is fit and available for the game as well as Francis Acquah, Emmanuel Ababio, Emmanuel Annor, Clinton Duodu, Joseph Kinful, Samuel Kuffour, Isaiah Nyarko, Gabriel Tenlep, Emmanuel Abban, Francis Twene and Emmanuel Owusu.
