Bofoakwa Tano’s fight for survival in the Ghana Premier League will continue this Sunday as they host Dreams FC.

Bofo will look to take a step toward securing their safety when they entertain fellow strugglers Dreams FC at the Sunyani Coronation park.

The home side are just above the drop zone but the visitors, who are caught in the relegation trap-net have four outstanding matches due to their participation in the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup.

John Eduafor’s  men currently sit just a point above their opponent Dreams FC, showcasing how impactful a victory could be this weekend, as it might lead to an improvement on the league table.

But they will need another big performance like last weekend when they picked a point at Nsoatreman FC.

As far as the visitors are concerned, it will be business as usual, with the Believers looking to take their current continental form into the game.

Bofoakwa Tano have recorded 3 consecutive draws, 1 win and suffered 1 defeat in their last 5 outings. The Bofo lads are 15th on the table with 32 points after 28 matches. Bofoakwa Tano are the second club with the least number of points recorded at home (22), scored 10 and conceded 10. They are unbeaten in their last 4 home matches.

Dreams FC have accumulated 31 points from 24 matches with 4 outstanding games to play against Real Tamale United, Great Olympics, Legon Cities and Bechem United.

The Still Believe lads have won 1, drawn 2 and suffered 2 defeats in their last 5 games. Coach Abdul Karim Zito’s side have managed to secure 9 points, scored 7 and conceded 16 goals away from home. Dreams FC are winless in their last 3 away league matches.

Bofoakwa Tano are yet to play Dreams FC at home in the league since returning into the top-flight in the 2023/24 season.

Saaka Dauda has featured in 27 matches for Bofoakwa Tano in the league this season, scored 8 goals and will be available for the clash on Sunday.

Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng , Aboagye Dacosta, Sammy Osae Akoto, Alhassan Ali, Emmanuel Ankrah, Andrew Appau, Solomon Obilitey, Ado Zack, Bashiru Abu, Clinton Baffour, Najib Ibrahim and Isaac Baffoe are all available and well prepared for the game.

Youngster Abdul Aziz Issah is expected to form a formidable attacking partnership with Agyenim Boateng Mensah and John Antwi up front for Dreams FC.

Other key players to watch in the game include, Abdul Jalilu, Eric Boateng, Ofori McCarthy, Sulemana Suhiyini, Godfred Atuahene, Emmanuel Agyei, Sylvester Simba, Dede Ishmael and Seth Agyemang.
