Salim Adams proved decisive against his former side as Medeama SC edged Accra Hearts of Oak SC 1-0 in their Ghana Premier League clash at the TNA Park on Sunday afternoon.
The experienced midfielder scored the only goal of the match, punishing his old club with a well-taken finish that settled a tense and competitive encounter. His strike was enough to secure all three points for the Tarkwa-based side in front of their home fans.
Medeama SC showed great discipline and control throughout the game, limiting Hearts of Oak’s chances and protecting their narrow lead until the final whistle.
The victory sends Medeama SC back to the top of the Ghana Premier League table with 34 points, strengthening their push for the title as the season progresses. Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, will look to bounce back quickly from the setback.
