The eagerly awaited Ghana Premier League encounter between Great Olympics and Dreams FC ended in a stalemate, with neither side able to break the deadlock.
Originally slated for Week 17, the match was postponed due to Dreams FC’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup. However, it was finally played today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Despite both teams needing a victory to bolster their chances of avoiding relegation, they were unable to find the net, settling for a goalless draw at the final whistle.
The result sees Great Olympics occupy the 15th spot on the league table, narrowly avoiding the relegation zone thanks to a superior goal difference over Karela United.
On the other hand, Dreams FC has climbed to 12th place, with just a two-point cushion separating them from the relegation zone.
With only two matches remaining in the Ghana Premier League, both teams will need to secure maximum points to ensure their survival in the league.
