Vision FC earned a crucial 1-0 win over Karela United on Sunday, May 25, 2025, to move further away from the relegation zone in the Ghana Premier League.
In a tightly contested encounter at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Edward Agyemang netted the only goal of the game in the 7th minute, giving the home side an early lead that they defended resolutely until the final whistle.
The result marks Vision FC’s third straight victory and lifts the league newcomers to 13th place with 39 points — five points ahead of Karela, who are now 15th and still battling to avoid the drop.
With two matches left, Karela United must win both to secure their stay in the top flight. They are set to host Young Apostles in their next fixture, while Vision FC will wrap up their season with a challenging home match against Asante Kotoko.
Sunday’s win was a significant step forward for Vision FC in their quest to maintain Premier League status in their debut season.
