Hohoe United and Kpando Heart of Lions FC shared the spoils after playing out a goalless draw in their Volta Region derby clash in the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The highly anticipated encounter produced plenty of effort from both sides, but neither team was able to find the breakthrough as the match ended 0-0. Despite moments of pressure and half chances, the defences stood firm throughout the contest.

For Kpando Heart of Lions, the result extended a difficult run of form. The away side are now seven matches without a win, recording four defeats and three draws during that period, a situation that will concern the technical team and supporters alike.

Hohoe United also remain in a tough spell, with the draw meaning they are now four games without a victory. The team has suffered three defeats and managed only this draw in their last four outings.

Both clubs will be hoping to return to winning ways in their next fixtures as the Ghana Premier League season continues to gather pace.
