Christian Boateng proved to be the match-winner, scoring the game’s only goal in the 41st minute. His strike, his second of the season, capped a strong first-half performance by the Lions and secured the valuable three points.
Throughout the second half, Heart of Lions continued to control the game, generating several chances to extend their lead but ultimately couldn’t add to the scoreline. Still, the win contributes to an outstanding run of form for the team, which has now lost just once in their last 18 league matches. This impressive stretch includes 10 victories, underscoring their consistency as one of the league’s top-performing sides this season.
On the other hand, Berekum Chelsea’s struggles persisted, extending their winless streak to three games. The Bibires face growing pressure to find their rhythm after a disappointing outing in Kpando.
