Asante Kotoko is gearing up to face Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday sixteen of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Currently occupying the 7th position on the league table, Asante Kotoko has overcome a challenging start to the season, remaining unbeaten in their last five games, with four wins and one draw.

Coach Prosper Narteh and his team are determined to return to the winning track after a recent draw against Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Stadium.

With the battle for the Ghana Premier League title intensifying, Asante Kotoko approaches this game with utmost seriousness, aiming to secure maximum points and enhance their championship prospects.

On the other hand, Real Tamale United (RTU) has struggled this season and currently sits at the 17th position on the league table with only 14 points.

RTU has experienced a lackluster performance, managing just one win in their last five games and suffering four defeats. In their previous fixture, they faced a narrow loss at home against Berekum Chelsea.

A defeat for RTU would further compound the challenges for the Tamale-based club. However, Coach Abdul Mumin and his team will strive to devise a strategic plan to achieve a positive result in this crucial encounter.
