Week 28 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League promises an intense battle as Medeama Sporting Club squares off against Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in a crucial showdown.

Set to unfold in Tarkwa this weekend, both teams are eager to claim three vital points in a bid to boost their standings.

Form:

Defending champions Medeama SC have faltered in the league despite their title credentials. With three defeats in their last five matches, their performance has raised concerns among fans.

Similarly, Asante Kotoko has struggled, managing only one win in their last five outings, leaving them desperate for a turnaround.

Head-to-head:

Recent encounters have favored Asante Kotoko, who have secured four victories in their last five meetings with Medeama SC.

However, Medeama’s coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his squad are mindful of the challenge posed by the Kumasi-based club.

Talking Points:

While the outcome may not drastically alter the league standings, Asante Kotoko aims to clinch victory to bolster their chances of securing a top-four finish.
