Ghana Premier League Week 34 Preview: Nsoatreman FC vs Nations FC

Nsoatreman FC and Nations FC, two teams who have secured their top-flight status, clash in the final match of the season on Sunday at the Nana Kromansah Park in Nsoatre.

Nsoatreman drew 2-2 at Aduana FC while Nations FC also drew 1-1 at home to Bechem United in their last matches.

Nsoatreman FC have managed to accumulate 47 points from 33 matches and are 8th on the league table, having won 1, drawn 2 and suffered 2 defeats in their last 5 outings.

Maxwell Konadu’s side  have recorded 29 points at home after 16 appearances, scoring 17 and conceding 7 goals. The Nsoatre lads are unbeaten in their last 5 home league matches.

Nations FC are currently 5th on the table with 49 points after 33 matches, having won 1, drawn 1 and suffered 3 defeats in their last 5 league games.

The newly promoted side have managed to accumulate 12 points away from home so far, scoring 4 and conceding 17.

Nations FC are pointless in their last 5 consecutive away matches.

Both clubs have conceded same number of goals in this campaign (32).

Nsoatreman FC are yet to host Nations FC at home in the league since coach Mingle Ocansey’s side jointed the Premiership in the 2023/24 season.

Nsoatreman FC can rely on Stephan Diyou, Apetorgbor Foster, Mohammed Abdul Rahaman, Collins Kudjoe, Morrison Anokye, Mohammed Issaka, Meider Kwabena, Mohammed Sadat, Philip Ofori, Eric Osei Bonsu, Walid Neymar Fuseini, Richard Acquah, Bortey Acquaye and Osafo Antwi.

Nations FC top scorer Asamoah Boateng Afriyie has scored 11 goals this season and is likely to start the game on Sunday. The likes of Asante Boahen, Isaac Botchway, Barimah Baah, Prince Acquah, Emmanuel Boahene, Kwame Boakye, Prince Badu, Sadiq Alhassan, Richard Berko, Michael Awuah, Razak Simpson, Justice Amate, Nuamah Blankson and Nafiu Sulemana could all be available.
