Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito says his team will approach Sunday’s clash against Hohoe United with full focus, insisting the Porcupine Warriors will not take any opponent lightly.
With three draws, one win and one defeat in their last five matches, Kotoko head into the away fixture looking to regain momentum. Zito says facing a newly promoted side brings its own uncertainties, but the team’s attitude remains unchanged.
He explained that playing on unfamiliar ground—particularly the AstroTurf at Hohoe—won’t be used as an excuse, recalling that the team has succeeded on similar pitches before.
Zito stressed that Kotoko will give their all on Sunday, saying the objective is to return home with maximum points.
Kotoko sit 5th on the league table with 21 points after 12 matches and hope to push further up when they visit the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
